Students will take familiar stories and collaborate with classmates to rewrite those stories into exciting new stories.  They will develop and enhance skills in acting and writing.  These new original stories will be performed for family and friends.

Students will be focused on learning key acting skills and practicing the art of storytelling. Using communication skills, collaboration, and creativity, students will create their own story as an ensemble around the theme of courageous characters.

Story Drama is a beginning exploration into dramatic storytelling and creative play! The class is focused on students building friendships, communication skills, and having fun! Students will engage with stories around the theme of adventurers.

Students will learn and explore the elements of playwriting.  They will use creative writing prompts and various playwriting exercises to brainstorm ideas and create captivating stories that will be the basis for their own original play.
