Actor’s Studio: Beginning Acting

This class is designed for adults who want to give acting a try, or revisit the basics in order to improve their technique! Students will participate in lively theatre games and exercises designed to free up the voice and body, stimulate creativity, promote self-confidence, and teach the building blocks of acting.
Actor’s Studio: Character Development
with Alison Lawrence
Students will use scenes and/or monologues to develop an approach for developing a detailed, multi-faceted character as an actor. Students will explore different ways into creating a character from the initial steps of text analysis all the way through fully embodying the character on stage.
Actor’s Studio: Voice Acting
with Rowell Gormon
Adapt your stage talents for use in voiceovers (commercials, narration, animation), where all you have is a microphone and your voice. Veteran talent Rowell Gormon (and RLT alumn) guides you through the basics, recording script samples with instant playback and individual feedback.
