4220-504: Actor’s Studio: Beginning Acting

This class is designed for adults who want to give acting a try, or revisit the basics in order to improve their technique! Students will participate in lively theatre games and exercises designed to free up the voice and body, stimulate creativity, promote self-confidence, and teach the building blocks of acting.

4220-504: Actor’s Studio: Character Development

Students will use scenes and/or monologues to develop an approach for developing a detailed, multi-faceted character as an actor. Students will explore different ways into creating a character from the initial steps of text analysis all the way through fully embodying the character on stage.

 

4220-504: Actor’s Studio: The Actor's Process

This class builds on foundational acting skills by challenging students to grow through scene study, character analysis, and script interpretation. Emphasis is placed on making strong acting choices, refining performance techniques, and responding authentically to scene partners.

4220-504: Actor’s Studio: Voice Acting

$200
Calendar Mar 14, 2027 at 7 pm, runs for 6 weeks

Students will learn how to effectively use their voice to deliver emotions, characters, and tell a story.  Through vocal exercises and performing various scenes, students will work on vocal range, control, articulation, and projection.  Students will develop the skills to gain confidence in voiceover work.
