Students will use scenes and/or monologues to develop an approach for developing a detailed, multi-faceted character as an actor. Students will explore different ways into creating a character from the initial steps of text analysis all the way through fully embodying the character on stage.

Intermediate actors will explore techniques that take them deeper into the art of acting. Students will participate in character development exercises that will allow them to develop and create detailed, multi-faceted characters.  Using an analysis of a monologue and/or scene, students will fully embody their character.  

Students will learn everything that’s needed to know from pre-audition to showcase their talent to land the role.  Students will receive knowledge on selecting the right audition song, learning the song, and selecting 16 - 20 bars of that song that will show vocal range and ability.  In addition to perfecting the right audition song, students will learn audition etiquette.
