A half-day camp where students will design their own puppets and props to tell stories and create characters. Students engage the actor’s tools of body, voice and imagination, as well as building their skills of the technical elements of theatre to create props and puppets. 

Please note: students must turn 4 prior to the first day of camp to attend.

Students will participate in lively theatre games and exercises designed to free up the voice and body, stimulate creativity, promote self-confidence, and teach the building blocks of acting.

An introduction to Sanford Meisner's approach to developing acting technique. The  class covers the beginning Meisner technique from word repetition, to improvisation, simple script analysis, to the first application to a scene.  The nature of the work makes it a level training ground for  people with prior acting experience/training, professional actors, and serious beginners.
